eye opening. I could not believe that he
was saying these things. His thoughts are
also a warning to all Israelis that current policies have a limited life span. I have a number of questions that I would
like to ask him.

When did you start thinking like this? Did you have these beliefs when you were the Prime
Minister of Israel, or did you have them earlier? How did you arrive at your present
understanding of Israel and Palestinian Arabs?
Were you informed by anyone, or did you arrive at your current position
by yourself? You must have been a Zionist
at one stage, and now you are obviously not one now. Have any of your friends followed you to this
point, if so, how many? How has your
current beliefs impacted on your relationships with your family, friends, professional
associates, on the one hand, and your former enemies on the other? I am absolutely amazed by the transition that
he has undergone. It is a hopeful sign
that there are more to follow.

If this Israeli guy's chocolate business is connected with people guilty of war crimes, it should be sent packing.

I'm alarmed, though, with the dismissive way you deal with anti-Semitic rants on a FB page concerned with this issue. You say there should be no tolerance for anti-Semitism, but then how do you apply this to the apparent proliferation of such rants on the groups FB page?

Not only are such rants inherently evil, but they make the people interested in this cause look like dangerous crackpots and maniacs, or at best people who are way too tolerant of such.

I've been through this stateside. Back in the seventies and eighties, when we'd organize a pro-Palestine function people could stay on-message and made it abundantly clear that anti-Jewish hate-mongering was not welcome. Now, everyone seems to feel free to let their Nazi freak flag fly.

offered alternative service to the army, as a conscientious objector. What he is saying about the civil rights of Palestinians
in Israel is true and rather sad. This sort
of behaviour by the state of Israel is clearly wrong, and it only leads to
people around the world questioning the integrity and legitimacy of Israel. A modern nation-state must never discriminate
against the civil, political, and cultural rights of any of its people, and this
must include their property rights. To act
in this prejudicial and discriminatory way is a form of state sanctioned suicide. What did they glean about the Shoah? That it is alright to target minorities by
not acknowledging and respecting their human rights. That it is alright to have an elite class that
enjoy full human rights, and an unfranchised class who continue to have their
human rights trampled upon, designated by race?
It is a disgrace.

Hey, I've got a great idea! Maybe we can sell this Mehdi Hasan guy on the idea that the Zionists came to Palestine with only the most altruistic and egalitarian ideas and intentions, and it was Muslim anti-Semetism which caused all the trouble.
Only a little nudge, and he could be a real asset to Zionism.
Oh, and we need him over here in the US to help expound the idea that Africans were only kidnapped into chattel slavery because they were so anti-white.
And the fact that Hasan only refers to Muslim anti-Semetism, but never provides and significant examples of it (to avoid giving ammunition to the EDL? Oh, come on.)
So he says anti-Semetism is "normalised" in the British Muslim Community but doesn't give one example. Wait, I've got one. Do Muslims allow Jews to join their mosques? Ha, got you now, British Muslims!
However, as a Jew who is terrified of the consequences of Zionism, I thank Mr. Hasan. Every little bit of deflection helps.

MY COMMENT: It almost sounds as though "Netanyahu’s children" are Israel's equivalent of Mussolini's Blackshirts. Considering the origins of the Beitar (a/k/a Betar) Movement, I guess it should come as no great surprise. Of course, 'Lieberman's children' are just as bad or worse. And 'Feiglin's children' are far, far worse.
